Aya of the Week

He frowned and turned away (1) Because the blind man came unto him. (2) What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) (3) Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? (4) As for him who thinketh himself independent, (5) Unto him thou payest regard. (6) Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). (7) But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose (8) And hath fear, (9) From him thou art distracted. (10) Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, (11) So let whosoever will pay heed to it, (12) On honoured leaves (13) Exalted, purified, (14) (Set down) by scribes (15) Noble and righteous. (16)

WRISA

Salam High School has been accredited through Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Association (WRISA) . The accreditation visiting team prided the school on its topnotch self study, collaborative faculty members, well-defined curriculum and most disciplined students.

According to the team, Salam High School’s submitted work for accreditation is second to none. Its quality puts it light years ahead of any other school seeking this type of accreditation. To this effect, I would like to thank everyone who participated in this great feat. With this said, I would like to tell you that the journey has just started. Where will it lead? Sky is the limit.

Also, Salam Elementary and Middle School is a fully accredited school.  This accreditation is achieved through "The Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation" WRISA .

WRISA is a nonprofit organization formed in 1991 by the Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools to provide non-public schools with an ongoing school improvement process.

WRISA's three phase accreditation process provides school communities with the opportunity to explore every aspect of their school program, receive valuable feedback from a team of impartial professional educators, and develop a long range plan using the WRISA framework. Once accredited, schools file an annual report documenting that they are in compliance with the WRISA Standards and that they have made progress on their long range plan.

WRISA is a state chapter of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations which is recognized by the College Board and the Office of Non-Public Education, an office within the U. S. Department of Education.

Discriminatory practices based on race, ethnicity, or national origin are not used in admissions or other services. Church affiliated schools may give preference to members of their faith as allowed by law. (1)
