Sandra Mayfield has been the Business Manager for Salam School since June 2000. She graduated from Rufus King High School, and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch College (now Cardinal Stritch University). Prior to coming to Salam School, she was a Music and Computer Teacher at St. Leo Catholic Urban Academy, a Paraprofessional and Substitute Teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools.
She also worked for various community organizations and small businesses as Secretary, Office Manager, Bookkeeper/ Accountant, and once had her own home-based business. Ms. Mayfield is a passionate lifelong learner, and feels that this makes her a passionate teacher in whatever she chooses to learn and teach. She is very active in her church, where she is the Music Minister and Sunday School teacher.
In her spare time, Ms. Mayfield loves to read, watch and collect classic (vintage) movies, travel (via automobile) to Music Education workshops/seminars, sing, play piano and teach voice. She also loves to crochet, and feels blessed to be able to spend time with her immediate family – which includes her parents, five sisters, two brothers-in-law, three nephews, two nieces, one great nephew and one great niece. The greatest thing you will ever learn…is just to love and be loved in return… Eden Ahbez
