The Salam School Advisory Committee (SSAC) is an ad hoc board appointed by the ISM Executive Committee, the elected board that operates the Islamic Society of Milwaukee. The SSAC functions as a “school board” for Salam School. The SSAC oversees the operations, finances, administration and overall direction of Salam School. The full SSAC includes Salam School administrators and Salam School staff members. The SSAC Executive Board currently includes a number of Shura (Executive Board) members of the ISM and the ISM Director. The SSAC’s vision has been to establish and maintain a very strong academic and Islamic institution that promotes strong Islamic and American identities among its students, and also promotes confident, active students.
